10 Tips to prepare you for your hair and makeup for your wedding.

1.       Make an appointment to have a trial hair and makeup done at least a month before the wedding. That way you know what to expect on your big day. Bring any pictures of ideas and your head piece.

2.      Make sure your hair is freshly colored or highlighted about a week before the wedding.  Do not make any extravagant changes to your cut or color unless you have time to adjust to it before the wedding, or just wait till after the wedding.

3.      Get plenty of rest, it's a long day and you want your skin to look as radiant as possible.

4.      Shower before you get your hair and makeup done.  Steam from the shower will frizz your hair and streak your makeup.

5.      Do not wash your hair the day of your wedding.  The dirtier the hair the better the updo stays in.  If your hair is very greasy and you Must wash it that day, be sure hair is 100% dry before your appointment.

6.      Be sure that skin is clean and free of any lotions and makeup.

7.      Remember to wear a button down shirt.  You will ruin your do trying to pull a shirt over your head.

8.      Bring all accessories: veil, pins, combs, flowers, anything that you think you might be wearing.

9.      Always bring extra spray and pins for those just in case moments.

10.  Purchase lipstick or bring your own lipstick you plan on wearing for touchups.
